Lil Pump & Lil Skies Delivered A Full On Party at The Fillmore Auditorium

The Fillmore was transformed into an all out party on Wednesday night as Lil Pump & Lil Skies brough their joint tour to the Mile High City. Two of raps youngest stars proved worthy of their performances by getting the crowd hyped as they each ripped through song after song eliciting a party vibe amongst the masses. The party took another turn as Machine Gun Kelly appeared with Lil Skies during hi set as they each fed off each other making their way all over the stage even to the scaffolds and speaker stands. One of the most impressive shows of the year to date, it’s no surprise that theses two individuals know how to put on a live performance.

Santigold Kicks Off 10 Years Golder Tour In Denver

The amazing Santigold. (Photo Credit: Robert Castro)

Cult albums only come across a few times in our lifetimes, in 2008 Santi White also knows as Santigold brought a unique sound to the masses with her debut album Santogold. The album was a cross-genre work of art featuring influences of new wave to reggae themed productions from the likes of producers such as Diplo, Chuck Treece and Switch. The album made its rounds among the blogosphere to acclaimed reactions.

Fast forward to ten years later and the first stop of the tour right here in our backyard. Santigold ripped through her set with her own charismatic vibe adorned in all gold suit which flowed from one end of the stage to the other.

“How many bands don’t make it to Denver because of the roads?” she asked the crowd as she described other times she has stopped in Denver (and maybe a jab at The 1975).

The show was short and sweet, but ultimately satisfying our thirst to hear the amazing album played in its entirety taking us back and giving us a nostalgic vibe for just one night.

It is always fun to follow a persons career from humble beginnings to the verge of a breakout artist. For us we have been fortunate to have gotten to know YaSi from the beginning. Being able to witness the growth and maturity in her sound has been amazing. With a penchant to grab the listener right off the bat the sultry songstress pulls you into to every song that enables you to feel what she is feeling. Not many people can pull that off but with YaSi we get a chance to feel the ups and downs. On “Issues” we get to witness her best work yet, we can’t wait until the full album comes out. The song takes us on a journey about the everyday struggles one must face, knowing that what lies at the end will be worthwhile.

One of our favorite venues has just announced it’s 2019 lineup and we are pretty stoked. This year is sure to be a blast as Ruby Hill plays host to an amazing lineup of national and local acts.

Levitt Pavilion Denver is proud to announce their 2019 Concert Schedule with 50 Free Concerts in Ruby Hill Park this summer. The Levitt Pavilion Denver mission of building community through music is more prevalent than ever with their continued support for local musicians, community programs, and increasing access to the arts through their free concert series. The non-profit music venue is funded by donations, sponsorships, and onsite concession sales. While the concerts are free to attend, donations and VIP upgrades are available to help keep the music going for years to come.

2019 will mark Levitts third year of providing free, family-friendly concerts for all to enjoy. Recently named as Denver’s Best Outdoor Venue by Denver Westword, the outdoor amphitheater can accommodate up to 18,000 people in its open lawn seating for their free concerts and 7,500 for ticketed concerts produced by Emporium Presents. Patrons can expect a diverse lineup of local Colorado based artists, national, and international talent in a wide array of music genres.

Executive Director, Chris Zacher adds “Levitt is still in growth mode as an organization and as a venue. In 2017 nobody knew what Levitt was, that is now changing but there’s still a lot of work to do. This offseason we spent a tremendous amount of time working on our artistic bookings and improving the venue for the concert goers experience. We want everyone to come out to a show and grow with us, learn about artists you haven’t yet heard of, bring the family and spread out on our vast lawn, and be a part of this unique experience. Without the support of the community Levitt is not possible.”

Talent Buyer and Production Manager, Chase Wessel asserts, “At Levitt, we pride ourselves on presenting all genres of music for our growing communities. Having success in past seasons has allowed us to increase artist budgets, which in turn has allowed us to bring in higher caliber artists. I'm extremely excited to announce our third summer season at Levitt and continue to put on high level productions, free of charge!”

Levitt Pavilion Denver’s 2019 free concert season will begin on May 24th and run through September.
