SUNSTONEY ANNOUNCES NEW ALBUM EVERYTHING IS FLEETING
Infectious, contagious, and boisterous, three words that describe Denver’s best kept secret. Sunstoney delivers a knockout punch stemming from influences clearly inspired in her sound, a mix of jazz, hip-hop, and dance fill every void of her carefully crafted new album. -Castro
Sunstoney announces ”Everything Is Fleeting”, a new 12-song album written and produced primarily by Eman El Saied w/ close co-production from Owen Martin (Knifing Around) and additional production from Noah Prebish (Psymon Spine), Danny Pauta (The Mananas), and Yoni Gottleib (Yugs). The album marks a new direction for Sunstoney, bringing the emotional directness of indie pop, alternative R&B, and bedroom pop into a world shaped by dance music.
Following the 2024 EP The Mirror Is Calling, El Saied became increasingly drawn to UK garage, drum and bass, Afrobeat, and other club-driven sounds. Playing live consistently became a major catalyst, inspiring her to create music that could be both deeply personal and physically immersive.Throughout Everything Is Fleeting, El Saied explores fractured relationships, buried anger, uncertainty, and drifting moments of confidence. Dance music becomes a vehicle for emotions that shift, overlap, and change without warning. Euphoria can give way to discomfort, anger can turn into release, and confidence can quickly become doubt.
Drawing from influences including The Streets, PinkPantheress, Rochelle Jordan, Kelela, Disclosure, Kaytranada, Tove Lo, and AlunaGeorge, Everything Is Fleeting finds Sunstoney pushing toward a more expansive, dance-driven sound while maintaining the vulnerability at the center of El Saied’s songwriting.Everything Is Fleeting arrives September 18th, 2026 via Crafted Sounds.
