Tame Impala Falls For Denver

Tame Impala returned to Denver’s Ball Arena on September 11, 2026 accompanied by Dominic Fike for another sold out stop on his Deadbeat tour! The 5th studio album tour started October 27th, 2025 and will continue next to Texas followed by his Australian home, before heading over to Europe in 2027 to finish up the tour. Fike definitely brought in the younger crowd, but was enjoyed by everyone with his charisma, humor, and hits like , “Babydoll”, “White Keys”, and “Mona Lisa”.
Ball Arena may have been the perfect setting for Kevin Parker’s immersive, psychedelic, and playful production. The tiered seating chart and circular stage set up were very intentional and made the impressive light and laser show accessible and viewable by very seat in the arena. An off to the side stage was a bedroom scene played into Parker’s former days of bedroom pop and psychedelic nature.
As a singular artist, every album Parker releases is a new piece of his musical journey, showing his experiences, his growth, and his current interpretation of whatever is happening inside that transcendent mind of his, and Deadbeat was no different. With grounding tracks true to his foundational style like “Loser” and “Piece of Heaven” he appeased old fans while also bringing in a fresh new vibe and outlook on this round of creation with some more electronic focused tracks like “Ethereal Connection” and “End of Summer”.

The Ball Arena set list was an incredible mix of old and new. Highlighted by fan favorites like “Elephant”, “Breathe Deeper”, “Yes I’m Changing”, and “Apocalypse Dreams”, Kevin knew how curate a set list that would appeal to long time listeners and new fans alike. Denver is also a city that can really appreciate some electronic vibes, and songs like “My Old Ways” and “Ethereal Summer” hit a little harder for us than other cities it seems.
“Dracula” was an obvious feature moment in the evening as the song got lots of attention in the media when it released and quickly became a favorite from the Deadbeat album. “Let it Happen” continues to be a magical moment in the Tame Impala universe and Denver’s experience was no different. It’s always nice to see such a diverse fandom come together and get to enjoy the magic the artist creates for us.
As a long time fan of Kevin Parker’s, I highly recommend everyone see this man and the incredible project that is Tame Impala.
