Fairchildren at Lost Lake 12/1: Review

Sometimes a break from the big venue concert routine is needed and a dive bar, small stage, and a talented band is plenty.  The last time we covered Fairchildren was back in April when they opened for the lovely Sharon Van Etten at The Walnut Room.  This time the setting was more intimate; I had never been to Lost Lake before  and recently they have been holding residencies for Denver’s local bands.  In fact, last month Force Publique held their own at the small, hole-in-the-wall bar complete with wood-burning fireplace.
