Hip Hop is alive and well thanks to the lyrical assassination and theatrics Tory Lanez brought to the Gothic Theatre this past Wednesday night. We have had the pleasure of seeing Lanez on a few occasions, most recently as his much talked about set at Austin City Limits Music Festival. Hailing from our neighbors up north in Canada, Lanes continues to prove doubters wrong with his over the top sets. Engaging in crowd participation and literally taking the show to the audience, one has to wonder how he can maintain that level of energy night in and out on this tour (especially in Denver, where most artist would be sucking down on the oxygen tank 10 minutes into a performance like Lanez's).
