Here is the 2019 edition of UMS Unplugged. I cut down on bands this year but was still able to capture some amazing musicians. I started this project about three years ago and have been able to take it to a few festivals including SXSW, Austin City Limits Music Festival and Bumbershoot Music Festival. I have always loved capturing bands outside their live element and was lucky enough to capture these this year. Thank you to all the musicians who participated, let’s do it again next year! SXSW Unplugged: Volume 3
Welcome to SXSW Unplugged, this is the third volume in this project and we had a chance to work with some amazing artist this year. This project started a couple years ago in Denver and has carried over to SXSW for the last few years. Our aim has always been to capture the artist in their intimate and casual setting. I had a chance to take some photos of some familiar faces and some new friends this year. My Unplugged photo project took place earlier this summer and I was able to capture 40 plus artist all up and down the concrete jungles of South Broadway. This is a project that I hold dear to my heart and love to be able to capture musicians with their guard down in their most intimate setting. Thank you to all of the bands that participated (and showed up on time).
