Just like an all you can eat buffet, The UMS has delivered a second helping to trigger our music induced coma. The second round of artists includes the mesmerizing Zola Jesus who NME describes as “a torch singer sonically shrouded in black lace,” Dine Alone records’ psych rockers, Sleepy Sun, and Colorado’s own, Edison, home from multiple tours and an amazing week at South By Southwest. We saw Zola Jesus a few years ago at the Austin City Limits Music Festival and were left in awe. Other notable favorites added were Post Paradise, The Hollow, Rossonian and Sur Ellz.

The Underground Music Showcase (UMS) is the largest indie music festival in the Rocky Mountain region. Since 2000, this four day yearly celebration of music has always been at the forefront of Colorado’s burgeoning local music and art community. This year’s UMS will feature hundreds of performances in 15 venues along a one-half mile section of South Broadway.

From Thursday, July 27 through Sunday, July 30, the 2017 UMS will offer a four-day celebration of the region's thriving local music and art scene as well as hosting emerging artists from around the world. Ticket information here.

Kendall Smith, Event Director of the Underground Music Showcase said, “Our second lineup announcement demonstrates The UMS’s commitment to showcasing many of the finest acts who call this region home. The addition of Zola Jesus also confirms our desire to present compelling artists from other regions as they emerge on the national scene. We encourage folks to spend some time on our website and mobile app to really get a taste of the weekend we have in store for live music fans.  There is much more to share in the coming weeks.  Stay tuned!”.
