Local MC Tommy Brown just unleashed a heater with the premiere of "The Life" video that got some love from The Source Magazine. We had a chance to see Tommy perform this past Friday night at the Welcome To The D.O.P.E Mixtape release party, we love what we saw and keep an eye out for his future endeavors.

Tommy Brown is set to release Covered in Gold 24K on July 25th. In advance of the release, the Welcome to the D.O.P.E. Game MC premiered the video for “The Life” via The Source Magazine earlier this week. The video was filmed in Seattle, Washington and was shot by Trenton Cotton.

The track, produced by Larry OG is reminiscent of a Houston underground sound that celebrates the finer things in life. Chock full of gorgeous women, high power artillery and enough gold to outfit Fort Knox, Tommy Brown has released one of the hottest singles of the summer.
