Last Thursday the latest edition of the Red Bull Sound Select Series made it's way to the 1 Up on Colfax. The lineup for the night was curated by some good friends over at Souls in Action and featured rowdy and feverish performances by Wild High, an smooth energized dance synth set by Rose Quartz, a well crafted and crowd moving set by Pictureplane, and ending with Chrome Sparks who put the finishing touches on a fun night.

This past Friday night the 1 Up Colfax played host to the unveiling of the new Breckenridge Brewery and Denver Comic Con collaboration beer "Brews Wayne". The venue had its fair share of beer aficionados, geeks, nerds, music lovers and many more odd and unusual characters.

On Thursday, June 5, X Games will take over downtown Austin for a free event that includes its highly anticipated Skateboard and BMX Vert competitions afront the Capitol—then, featured by Myspace, Holy Ghost! will put on a sure-to-be dancey show at Austin's famed ACL Live Moody Theater on Congress Street—also free.
MS MR with Rose Quartz | The Ogden | May 28
The duo of Lizzy Plapinger and Max Hershenow otherwise known as MS MR provided for a fun show last Tuesday night at The Ogden Theatre. The Brooklyn band returned to Denver after canceling an earlier date a few months ago.
