We always get excited when our inboxes are full of new music, specifically new local music. Ultra5280 faves The Epilogues have been stirring up some goodness in the kitchen for a hot minute. Today we are pleased to showcase their latest single "Loser Denial". Be sure you RSVP to tomorrows Red Bull Sound Select show to hear this track and maybe a few other surprises.

It’s been over three years since Denver indie-rockers The Epilogues released Cinematics, the band’s well-received sophomore full-length. Today, The Epilogues confirmed that they will be releasing a new album in 2016 and unveiled a new track from that album, titled ‘Loser Denial’.

The Epilogues will be performing ‘Loser Denial’ as well as a handful of other previously unheard songs from the new album, this Thursday, January 21st at the Hi-Dive in Denver, CO. Presented by Red Bull Sound Select & The Underground Music showcase, the concert will also feature In The Whale & Cloud Nothings.

The Epilogues:

From SXSW in Austin to The Sunset Strip Music Festival in Los Angeles, CMJ in New York City, and multiple supporting & headlining tours, The Epilogues have played with a plethora of incredible acts like AWOLNATION, Portugal The Man, Cold War Kids, All American Rejects, 3oh!3, Phoenix, Ra Ra Riot, Ghostland Observatory, P.O.S., Grieves, Tickle Me Pink, Drive By Truckers, Savoy, and many more. The passionate urgency with which they play each dazzling live show leaves fans both elated and yearning for more.

The Epilogues--Chris Heckman (vocals/guitar), Nate Hammond (keys), Jason Hoke (drums), and Jeff Swoboda (bass)--released the sweeping, aptly-titled Cinematics via Greater Than Collective in fall of 2012, receiving glowing coverage in Rolling Stone, MTV.com, RCRD LBL, AbsolutePunk and more.
