We always like to get down to the always random pop up show that comes out of nowhere. In fact we had a chance to see all of the bands on this lineup during SXSW and were left truly impressed. This makes this one of the "Must See" shows of the week, wait are you waiting for go buy your tickets!!!!
Wasteland Hop just returned from their second SXSW, playing four showcases and proudly representing Colorado via The Colorado Music Party, SpokesBUZZ, the City of Fort Collins and Boomtown. Despite the theft of their bassists’ gear just weeks before the trip to Austin, Wasteland Hop continued on with a rallying cry of “You can’t stop us!” and are especially thankful for the huge amount of community support they received. Now that they are home, the band is gearing up for two Denver shows. On Saturday, March 28th, they are headlining the Bluebird Theater with Denver acts HR People Sarah and the Meanies, and Steele & Colfax. Taking a departure from the usual late-night shows, Wasteland Hop is donating their day on Sunday, March 29th to perform at the Children’s Hospital Colorado in Aurora. The band members will spend the day playing private, acoustic sets for children who are too sick to leave their rooms, and will end the day with a one hour concert for all children, their families, and hospital staff. The band members have all been musicians since childhood and enjoy working with youngsters to cultivate a love of music, in addition to “(giving) back to our amazing Colorado community”. Tickets for the show on Saturday March 28 at The Bluebird Theater in Denver are only $5 for pre-sale tickets, $15 day of. The show is open to patrons 16+ with a valid ID, and music starts at 9pm sharp.
