The Velveteers Shine As They Embark On Their UK Tour

On Saturday The Velveteers kicked off their UK tour with a show in Denver at the Bluebird Theater. The venue was filled with fans eager to support this badass trifecta and wish them well on their tour. The eerie mood was easily set between the incredible stage design, created by Sierra Voss, and fog rolling out into the crowd. The stage was covered in candles and roses, five floating eyes, a handpainted banner, along with vintage TVs displaying hypnotizing clips of the band. Add all of that to the already impactful sound of The Velveteers and you were left with an almost out of body experience. Your eyes continuously move around the stage between the set design, Demi’s euphoric voice paired with her fluid guitar strokes, to wanting to watch John and Adrian complement each other’s drumming prowess. This has been a wonderful group to watch grow, and we’re definitely ready to see where they go from here.

The band is set to hit the stage again overseas on September 10th at Broadcast in Glasgow.

If you didn't get enough Pink Fuzz from us last night, we have their second single off their upcoming album rightfully titled Speed Demon. John Demitro shines lyrically on this track (with a perfect subtle hint of backup vocals by LuLu Demitro) anchored by well played out riffs and strong drumming. A track you would find on any Quentin Tarantino film, the song is a hit.

Music | NEW MUSIC ALERT: BANDITS Premiere New Music Video for "Kill Tonight"

One of the bands that has been on our radar lately has been Bandits (formerly Branded Bandits). We have been following the band for almost two years now and have witnessed the next coming of one of the most exciting bands to come out of Colorado in a long time. With carefully orchestrated hard riffs, psychedelic synths and infectious drumming the band is in top form right now and it's time the world takes notice. A slew of appearances at this years SXSW will give them an opportunity, we know we will be there. The psychedelic and explosive trio, BANDITS, have teamed up with Myspace to exclusively premiere their new music video for their single "Kill Tonight" today!

The band just also recently premiered their track "Wheels" on "Wheels" is the b-side of BANDITS' Kill Tonight 7'' vinyl, which is set to release this month! This highly anticipated release was mastered by Brian Gardner, the Grammy award-winning engineer who has worked with iconic artists such as Jack White, Queens of the Stone Age, and Them Crooked Vultures. Listen to "Wheels" on, here:

BANDITS are a red-hot bowling ball, shot out of a homemade cannon into the side panel of mid 80's Ford Bronco. Led by the unmatched chemistry of brother/sister John Demitro (guitar/vox) and LuLu Demitro (bass/keys/vox), and driven by the eruptive drumming of Andrew Oakley (drums), BANDITS have managed to enter a higher society of artistry by discharging a brand unlike any others in the provincial industry.

BANDITS find themselves drawing in dazed listeners to a focal point of sound, just before pushing back with enough power and energy to knock the asbestos out of the ceiling of your towns grimy rock club. You can listen to BANDITS' first EP Change that was released on March 15, 2014 here:
