The Constellation Tour Coming To The Junkyard August 21

What’s coming to Denver this August can literally be described as a tour de force. On August 20th, the Constellation Tour comes to JunkYard. The tour also hits Dillon at the Dillon Amphitheater the next day on August 21st, if that is of interest either.

Modern soul group Thee Sacred Souls headline the tour, with support from the Latin fusion players LA LOM as well as the powerhouse vocal group The Womack Sisters. This is the type of show where the energy never subsides for one second. Thee Sacred Souls know a thing or two about doing things live, with stellar performances for Tiny Desk, Coachella, and Kimmel as evidence of their prowess; they’re not only helping keep soul alive, they’re doing their best to reinvent and invigorate it. For the Los Angeles League of Musicians, aka LA LOM, cultural reinvention, too, plays a part in their cumbia and bolero inspired fusion, which draws from their home in East LA. Like the aforementioned two trios, the three Womack Sisters breathe new life into established styles; their storied lineage as descendants of Sam Cooke and Bobby Womack makes sense when you hear their beautifully harmonized and blended vocals. Altogether, these three acts all promise impeccable musicianship and deep passion for their craft. The stars will certainly shine brighter wherever this tour lands.
