Rock duo The Kills brought their unique version of sexually induced rock and roll to The Ogden Theatre last week. Riding the heels of an upcoming new album Ash & Ice, it was a perfect opportunity to hear some new music. The band had no issue getting us into a warm frenzy right off the bat with some classic faves like "No Wow", my personal favorite "U.R.A. Fever", and "Heart is a Beating Drum". We got a dose of new material with the new song "Hard Habit To Break","Heart of a Dog", and "Impossible Tracks". The newer tracks seem to be going over well with their fans.

The duo of Alison Mosshart and Jamie Hince have been making music since 2001. All of their albums have been met with critical acclaim. Aside from The Kills, they have managed to be involved in many side projects including the Jack White fronted The Dead Weather in which Mosshart shares lead vocal duties. The new album is set to drop later this week and from gaining an early chance to hear some of the newer songs, fans of The Kills will not be disappointed. Still carrying over the sex fueled rock it's no wonder the band continues to impress. The band will continue to tour the rest of the summer including a few festival dates thrown in as well.
