RIP: Adam Yauch (MCA) 1964-2012

 For me growing up listening to The Beastie Boys was a way of life, I remember buying Licenced To Ill on cassette at a flea market back in the day and was one of my first introductions into hip hop at the time.  As the years followed I always considered The Beastie Boys true pioneers of the genre.  Often going beyond the limits and experiencing something new and fresh.  Videos such as Sabotage truly showed the creativity they demonstrated.  I remember getting to see them at Red Rocks a few years ago and up till this day is one of my most memoorable concerts I have ever seen.  Adam Yauch passed away today after a lengthy battle with cancer.  We will miss you, but you will continue to live on through your music and contributions to the hip hop world.
