Ellie Goulding at The Ogden: Review

Let’s get something out in the open right away. I have many guilty pleasures, one being pop music, more importantly pop music sang by beautiful women (Katy Perry, Britney…you see where I am going with this). Monday night I had a chance to see Ellie Goulding, now me and the lovely Ms. Goulding have a history sort of speak. It started at SXSW, it was the first time I got to see her perform and it was love at first sight. Now I’m a sucker for any woman who picks up a guitar, pounds a snare, and sings beautifully. I managed to snap, oh say 127 pictures (I think it was 117, but who’s counting) of her at SXSW gig. When I found out she was rolling through Denver, I was pretty excited (I heard she just had an awesome set at Lollapalooza this past weekend). Ellie is one of those imports from across the pond, that have a cult-like following here in the states very similar to those who have come before her such as Kate Nash, Lilly Allen and even the late great Amy Winehouse.
