Punch Bowl Social, the people who brought you in-house bowling alleys, electric darts, and now sport a room-for-rent for podcasts, launched their brunch series, Bloody Good Sundays, mid-February. With a Bloody Mary Bar worth writing home about and unique retailers each week, this Sunday brunch should be first on your list.
When hand-picking the retailers they wanted to feature for their series, Punch Bowl aimed for companies that offered a variety of unique products. “Our brunch and retail program is designed to further enhance the guest experience because who doesn’t like to shop after a few breakfast beverages and some brunch dishes,” (Punch Bowl Social). Previously, Punch Bowl featured The Moore Collection, Denver Plant Lady, and Vogel Haus Vintage. Upcoming retailers will include:
March 8: Two Little Fruits
March 15: Rizzo’s
March 22: Harper Made
March 29: B Fresh Gear
April 5: Tri Artisan and Vintage
Situated next to their Bloody Mary bar is a space carved for different retailers each week. This previous Sunday highlighted Vogel Haus Vintage, an online retailer featuring antique pieces ranging from apparel, jewelry, furniture and wall décor.
Beside the delicate antique glassware and throw-back newspaper images (two of which I did purchase), lies the beloved Bloody Mary Bar; and the bar holds several candles to their notorious punch bowls. Featuring toppings ranging all the way from your basic celery and olives, to bacon and shrimp, the bar is priced at $9 per glass – a deal for the amount of additives included.
Being the slave to my southern stomach that I am, I opted in for the chicken and waffles. The chicken was the perfect combination of crispy and savory but being doused with syrup and topped with strawberries makes it a natural contender to pop into your dreams later that week.
Now, our non-southern, non-carnivorous, photographer went the healthier route with an avocado toast equally as mouthwatering. Insanely decorated and far larger than any avocado toast we’ve ever seen, the plate also comes with a side of potatoes.
With enough alcoholic choices to get the entire state of Colorado buzzed and local shops with a myriad of product, Punch Bowl x Bloody Good Sundays could be your one-stop-shop for everything you need this weekend.
