Josh Ritter rocks the Ogden

How happy can a folk musician be? Pretty fuckin jubilant apparently-- that is if you are Josh Ritter. Known for his energetic live performances that somehow complement his billowy tracks, Ritter took to the Ogden Monday night for a smile-plastered set that brought rousing sing-alongs and dancing couples to the walkways. It was the kind of performance only a musician who has honed his chops for over a decade could create, the kind that makes you entirely reconsider what we conceptualize as proper folk music.
