You would think that because my name starts with an MC, that I was born to MC an event like the Westword Music Showcase. But you'd be wrong. Sure, I can stand up and introduce various acts and thank the sponsors, but there in lies the extent of my abilities. For the full 2 minutes I spoke in between acts, I was able to relive the moment my teacher made me recite the love note I wrote to Bobby Frutchey in the 3rd grade.
