The announcement brings together two distinct yet complementary eras of hip-hop. Clipse (Pusha T & Malice), fresh off their landmark return with the Grammy-winning album Let God Sort Em Out, continue one of the most celebrated and culturally significant comeback runs in recent memory. The project—released independently in partnership with Roc Nation and produced by longtime collaborator Pharrell Williams—arrived as one of the most anticipated hip-hop releases in years, reaffirming the duo’s singular voice and enduring influence on the genre.
Emerging from Virginia Beach in the early 2000s alongside The Neptunes, Clipse built a legacy on minimalist, forward-thinking production and razor-sharp lyricism, earning classic status with projects like Lord Willin’ and Hell Hath No Fury. Across decades of industry shifts and evolving rap trends, their cultural relevance has remained intact - defined by a balance of street realism, introspection, and an unwavering commitment to authenticity. Let God Sort Em Out marks not just a return, but an evolution: a deeply personal and technically refined body of work shaped by time, growth, and lived experience.
Following a fully sold-out national tour in 2025—including a standout stop at Denver’s Mission Ballroom—Clipse now ascend to Red Rocks, signaling a new peak in their resurgence and expanding their legacy onto one of the most prestigious stages in the world.
Joining them is East Atlanta’s J.I.D, one of the most technically gifted and fast-rising voices in modern hip-hop. Since breaking out with The Never Story and DiCaprio 2, and earning widespread acclaim through Dreamville’s Grammy-nominated Revenge of the Dreamers III, J.I.D has steadily evolved into a global touring force. His 2022 album The Forever Story was widely regarded as a modern classic, while breakout records like “Surround Sound” achieved multi-platinum success and viral cultural impact.
Most recently, his 2025 Grammy nominated album God Does Like Ugly — featuring collaborations with artists including Clipse — further cemented his position at the forefront of the genre, driving his largest world tour to date and setting the stage for his biggest headline performance in Colorado. Known for his rapid-fire delivery, lyrical precision, and genre-spanning collaborations (Imagine Dragons, 21 Savage and Doja Cat), J.I.D represents the next generation of hip-hop at full scale.
Presented by AEG Presents Rocky Mountains, the show further reinforces Red Rocks’ role as a premier destination for culturally significant, genre-defining performances across hip-hop and beyond.
