Ah Telluride, a hidden paradise among our states vibrant and colorful landscape. A place were one can escape the hustle and bustle of the big city and enjoy a weekend retreat of majestic views and scenery. Throw in some live music and some of the finest breweries in our country and you have the makings of a great weekend. This was our third year making it out to cover this festival and before I begin I want to acknowledge the fine people behind putting this festival together. A group of hard working individuals who have been the nicest press/media people we have had the honor of working with. They manage to put on one of the finest festivals in the country. Great lineups every year to go along with great micro brews make for an incredible weekend of two of our favorite things.

Beer and music quite the pairing. (Photo Credit: Andrew Rios)

This year the lineup for the fest brought some of rock and rolls living legends to the Town Park grounds. Musical acts like Violent Femmes, Bombino, Black Joe Lewis, The Meter Men, George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, and Peter Frampton entertained festival goers for the three day weekend. A slew of venues also hosted some late light intimate shows across town. More than 150 breweries were also on hand giving those in attendance a wide variety of different samples of beer to keep their palettes happy and quenched. The festival continues to grow above our expectations every year and we always look forward to coming back year after year. After all you can't have music without beer, or is it beer without music?
