Our good friends at Breckenridge Brewery invited us to their 24th Annual Anniversary Hootenanny this past Saturday at their headquarters for one last hurrah! They plan on moving to their new 20 million dollar state of the art facility at this time next year. The annual fest provides for awesome bluegrass music (folk, jam band), food, and their thirst quenching assortment of beers that have made the company a staple amongst beer aficionados around the world. We had a chance to enjoy their abundance of pig roast that satisfied all those who hungered for some of the perfectly cooked oinker (by the way if you have never been to the brewery to eat, we suggest doing so, our favorites are the smoked buffalo wings).

Aside from almost perfect weather (a few sprinkled showers weren't going to let us from enjoying ourselves), the crowd seemed to be enjoying the great music provided on multiple stages. Most importantly people came to sample the beer, our favorite being the Agave Wheat Ale. We also had a chance to drink their Nitro Vanilla Porter, which will definitely be our beer of choice this coming fall/winter. Hopefully we get invited to this next year, I mean why wouldn't we? It provides for three of our favorite things, food, music and beer. See ya next year Breck Brew!
