Red Bull Curates: The Canvas Cooler Project in Denver on Wednesday, May 14 at the McNichols Building from 8-11pm with a hosted bar, 21+. An exclusive media hour will be held from 7-8pm with the artists, prior to the public opening.
For this project, 20 hand-picked, emerging artists from Denver have been partnered with venue owners from some of the hottest local bars, lounges and restaurants. Artists will be given a one-day challenge to transform a blank canvas-wrapped Red Bull Cooler into an inspired work of art customized for permanent display at each venue. The art created will be exhibited in a one-night only public showcase where attending guests and a panel of curatorial judges will vote on each piece, ultimately sending two artists to show at SCOPE Miami in December.
