Viretta to open benefit show for The Unlikely Candidates in Parker

Anyone looking for a show with a great cause behind it? Well, look no further, as Colorado's very own VIRETTA are showing some love to their hometown of Parker by playing a show with radio darlings The Unlikely Candidates towards the end of this month.

The Parker Arts, Culture and Events Center is excited to announce that The Unlikely Candidates will be performing at the PACE Center on April 25th in a show that’s the 1st of its kind for the town of Parker. Parker’s own Viretta will be opening for the group that just returned from the 2014 SXSW Music Festival. The concert will benefit Parker’s Old Town Creative District, whose goal is to support and promote a broad range of entertainment and educational experiences for the Parker community. Tickets to the show are only $25 and include a free beer for those 21 and over. Show sponsors 93.3FM (KTCL), Hall Brewing, The Tailgate Tavern & Grill, Blue Talon Photography, and the PACE Center. Tickets can be purchased online at www.PACE or by calling 303.805.3366

If you haven't seen either band, you are certainly missing out. Local darlings Viretta have been playing the Denver Music scene with more ferocity than any other local band over the past six months. Playing shows with In The Whale, My Body Sings Electric, Bop Skizzum, The Photo Atlas and more, this group of young men are working hard to make their name, and the city is noticing. Their cool, rock and roll sounds compliments the headliners in a unique way, making for a fantastic pairing for this benefit event. The Unlikely Candidate's radio single "Follow My Feet" has been blowing up over the past few months, featuring quietly world-conscious lyrics, and a catchy melody. Playing shows recently with Cake, Fall Out Boy, American Authors and more, this band is quickly on the rise, and doing a noble thing playing this unique benefit show.
