Sunday night welcomed the talented singer/songwriter/producer James Blake to The Ogden Theatre. I don't know if you can put Blake under a specific genre, when in fact this guy can manage to do it all. From mind riffing piano chords, to minimal electronic and a hint of dub bass, his unique blend of sound makes it enjoyable to any listener.​

He got the night started with help of his three piece band with opening number "Air & Lack Thereof", and continued to keep the crowd second guessing as to what else he had in his back of tricks. Blake keeps a calm cool when on stage while belting out his mesmerizing blend of soulful passion. In an almost gospel persona, he managed to keep the crowd focused throughout the entire set. His cover of Feist's "Limit To Your Love", got the crowd excited as did many other of his hits spanning his rather short catalog album. At one point Blake made light of our state's popular stance on marijuana by stating the theater's obvious pungent smell "...the uplifting smell of legalization". The night got started by opener Falty DL who played a strong forty five minute opening set.
