The Return of Speakeasy Tiger!!!

Speakeasy Tiger will be taking the stage again for the first time in three years at the Marquis Theater on 04/27/13. Stay tuned here for more details very soon. Also joining us is Lauren's new duo Brave Song Circle, with the talented Dustin Morris. They will be releasing their sophomore album that night! What a great community effort!

Nearly three years ago there was a tremor in the dynamics of what we called Speakeasy Tiger, and the five of us walked away from it. We forged our own new paths and strengthened our own individual identities.

In the time since we left it behind, our fans haven't. It is a regular question for us to hear "Why don't you guys get back together?" or "Will we ever get another Speakeasy show?" We've given out a lot of answers, but today we have a new one for you.

On April 27th, we're doing another show - because you asked and we listened. So join us at The Marquis Theater in Denver, CO as we play those you songs you haven't let us forget. Original lead singer Kyle Simmons is rejoining the lineup, and onstage our good friend Dustin Morris will be filling in on key/synth duties. Some of you may recognize Mr. Morris from Speakeasy Tiger bassist Lauren Gale's new project, Brave Song Circle. If you don't know them, you will, as they will be playing that night as well.

If you've forgotten the words, you have one month to relearn them, because we want to hear them screamed back at us. Together, let's make this a night from 2013 we'll never be able to forget.

Speakeasy Tiger,
Kyle Simmons
Lauren Gale
Lucas Gordon
Tavis Alley

Our show next month wouldn't be complete without a great line-up to sweeten the moment. So here are the bands full of amazing people we'll be playing with:

Take To The Oars
We played with these talented blokes often back in the day, and we are witnesses to how much they continue to improve. In fact, their bassist JP Manza produced our album "The Public", and in the time since, they've stamped their name all over Colorado, including Red Rocks. Catch them playing some energetic alt-rock with a flavor that is all their own.

Brave Song Circle - CD Release
Speakeasy Tiger bassist Lauren Gale's newest project is one you have to experience live to grasp fully. It is a duo between Ms Gale and Dustin Morris, focusing on music that promotes humanity and understanding, driven through harmonies, multiple instruments, and dynamic composition. This same night is also when they will be releasing their highly anticipated brand-new full length album, adding to the excitement of the night.

Head over to their ReverbNation to hear "Lilith" by this up and coming Denver rock group. If you're looking for a band to strap your dancing legs on, and keep them on for the rest of the night, we've got your fix right here.
