We Are Scientist "Take My Breath Away" Video and Tour News
Today, We Are Scientists unveil the video from the Business Casual EP for their cover of Berlin’s “Take My Breath Away.” It’s the second video from the EP and is full of cutting edge green screen wizardry and directed by the band themselves. See bassist Chris Cain clumsily recount the iconic story of Top Gun to singer Keith Murray using only toy figurines, his cat and his imagination. Hilarity ensues.The track is off their Business Casual EP, which was released on October 14th, 2013, on 100% Records.
After many hints and a smattering of new music throughout 2013, We Are Scientists are thrilled to announce the release of their fourth full length LP Spring 2014 on 100% Records. The duo worked with producer Chris Coady (Beach House, Smith Westerns, Yuck) and frequent drummer Andy Burrows (ex-razorlight) to create the album at Magic Shop in NYC and the collection will feature the tracks “Dumb Luck” and “Return the Favor” from their EP Business Casual. Keith Murray and Chris Cain are also embarking on a quest for world domination in 2014 with tours slated in the UK, Europe and Australia. Today, have announced North American dates including stops in Los Angeles and Chicago among other cities – see full tour routing below. New York fans, do not fear. That announcement is coming soon.
