Telluride Horror Fest 2025: The Thrills, Spills, and Chills.

What a weekend of chills, thrills, and mountain magic! From October 10–12, Telluride’s spooky side came alive at the 16th Telluride Horror Show, turning the alpine town into a thrilling playground for horror lovers everywhere.

Over three unforgettable days, fans packed into Telluride’s atmospheric theaters to catch premieres, cult favorites, and dark surprises. Highlights included Dust Bunny, brought to life by Bryan Fuller in person, Shelby Oaks’ supernatural mystery, and the Adams Family’s haunting Mother of Flies.   The ever-beloved Good Boy charmed audiences too—canine horror with a twist.

Eager crowds prep for the next showing.

But the fest was more than just films. Creepy Campfire Tales, author Q&As, and late-night parties infused eerie storytelling into the Colorado air.   Legendary film producer Jon Davison returned as “Vault Keeper,” introducing classic 16 mm horror gems, while Meredith Borders hosted with electric energy. Between screenings, fans mingled over pizza, themed drinks, trivia nights, and the festival’s signature pig roast.

Against the dramatic San Juan mountain backdrop, the whole weekend felt like a curated horror dream—mountain breeze, late fall chill, and a shared love for the spooky and strange. Whether you screamed, gasped, laughed, or wept, the Telluride Horror Show 2025 delivered unforgettable moments. Can’t wait to see what twisted wonders next year brings…
